Thomas has been nominated in the category of Best Music for a Documentary for his work on "The Will to Fly" at this year's Screen Music Awards.
The annual Screen Music Awards are presented by APRA AMCOS in conjunction with the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC). The ceremony acknowledges excellence and innovation in the field of screen composition.
The 2016 Screen Music Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 8th November at the City Recital Hall in Sydney.
Thomas has won the award for 'Best Music' at this years British Independent Film Festival for his score to The Reckoning. The gong was one of two awards collected by the crime thriller with John V. Soto taking out best Director as well. The Reckoning is scheduled for release in Australian cinemas in September.
